MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The Geography Business Manager Neurosurgery/ENT – Pacific /South America has the responsibility to supervise the ST Business segments in the geography assigned, and to create marketing and sales support programs to develop these business segments in Latin America. This function will be performed primarily to lead and support the commercial strategies in the region and will have defined sales quotas for the various business segments within the region.

MAINJOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Createmarketing plans to meet strategic and financial objectives. Monitor sales, market share, andprofitability.

  • Operatewith the local geography leadership in support and develop local businessstrategies.

  • Leadlocal ST team to support growth of the business segments.

  • Leadlocal team by developing, coaching and addressing performance matter andpromote talent development

  • Responsiblefor geography P/L, including revenue and ebit targets.

  • Workclosely with the SBU managers to create and deliver capital equipment packages,pricing strategies, and promotional programs.

  • Coordinateteaching programs for distributor and local sales forces to develop productknowledge in the region.

  • Coordinatecustomer oriented teaching programs to develop the different ST businesssegments.

  • Developrelationships with key opinion leaders involved in ST product related therapiesto enhance the teaching programs for customers and distributors.

  • Identifylocal market opportunities to develop and market ST related products.

  • Prepareand coordinate new product launch packages following the SBU strategic plansfor key products.

  • Meetwith customers regularly to assess future market needs, and communicateopportunities for new product development to the SBU.

  • Attendvarious sales meetings to demonstrate, sell, and promote our products.

  • Attendlocal, and international congresses.

  • RegulatoryAffairs – Coordinate distributor requests for documentation to registerproducts in country.

  • Must be able to travel to other global locations. Primary travel will be within region withoccasional travel to the USA and Europe.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

  • BSDegree required

  • MastersDegree in business, marketing, or sales desirable

  • JOB EXPERIENCE

  • Minimumof two to four years experience.

  • MBApreferred.

  • Proficiency in English preferred.

  • Distributor management and directsales force management experience preferred.

  • Anatomical knowledge preferred.
