CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • An overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.

  • Control of monthly contract expenses.

  • Knows the operational process of plants in relation to services and / or goods.

  • Identifies what and how to control KPI of contracts associated with Plant Process.

  • Develops effective relationships with internal business leaders to understand business requirements, to forecast demand, and verify established contracts are effective.

  • Develops collaborative relationships with suppliers to ensure optimum delivery quality and sustained performance in line with business objectives.

  • Executes against the control framework for master data management; maintain quality and accuracy of information.

  • Generates action plans along with the operation to achieve with the expenses Budget

  • Identifies and implements improvement initiatives in KPI with support from Supply Analysis & Improvement.

  • Work collaboratively across Supply (Region, Global and across sub-functions) and operational stakeholders to develop and execute category strategies, opportunities to reduce external spend through demand, price and productivity (technology) levers.

  • Collects requirements and analyses key data inputs from multiple sources (internal and external) to build robust category and sourcing strategies.

  • Develops sourcing and negotiation strategies using market intelligence and best practice tools such as clean sheeting, e-Auctions, TCO analysis.

  • Ensures integration of the category strategy across the sub-function (Purchasing, inventory and warehousing) to ensure lowest inbound supply chain cost.

  • Coordinates the technical and any other non-commercial evaluation of tenders prior to negotiation.

  • Creates, manages and monitors contracts. Performs contract variations in line with business requirements.

  • Executes supplier performance reviews to track performance with contract and business requirements.

REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

  • A bachelor degree

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience with a focus on supply chain management or 5+ years in production/maintenance in contract administrator experience.

  • Proven ability to influence and engage across functions and mine operations site.

  • High understanding of mining industry preferred.

  • Ability to analyze complex business processes, risk factors and control systems.

  • Risk management skills.

  • Experience and management in SAP.

  • Fluent Spanish speaker

  • Intermediate English speaker and writer
