Their primary goal is to ensure the provision of various accounting, administrative and clerical services that will lead to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
What you'll be doing
The Treasury Analyst contributes to the day to day processing of payments to ensure that Dimension Data accounts payable transactions are maintained in an effective manner. They review invoices and cheque requests, sorting and matching them and ensuring that all the information appearing on them are accurate and complete. Once these requests have been reviewed, the Accounts Payable Clerk prepares invoices for payments and processes cheque requests, wire transfers and electronic fund transfer payments. These individuals code documents according to the relevant accounting processes and procedures.
The Treasury Analyst ensures the monitoring of accounts and the tracking of transactions to ensure that payments are up to date. They check figures, postings and documents to ensure that they are correct and accurate. They ensure that account information is corrected and that errors are noted in preparation for accounting procedures.
The Treasury Analyst takes responsibility for daily cash balances. They ensure that the cash flow for their area of responsibility is adequate to enable effective operation. These individuals forecast cash payments and anticipate challenges arising from limited cash flow.
The Treasury Analyst establishes and maintains good working relationships with key banking partners and assist with the opening of banking accounts and the related documentation. They provide a helpdesk service and assist with responding to a variety of transactional banking issues that arise. They draft various correspondences with banks and businesses as and when required.
The Treasury Analyst is a proactive individual who has excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills. They display the required level of honesty and integrity when dealing with confidential information. They are organised individuals who have excellent attention to detail and display good problem solving ability.
