Role Description:

A newly created role responsible for executing on sales strategy and the field enablement process. The Senior Manager will formulate innovative best practices to build a scalable sales and services business that delivers repeatable and predictable growth. The individual will work with the Managing Director and other Regional leaders focusing on territory planning, sales methodology execution and training, process re-engineering, tools and content development and overall business planning for the region to execute on the overall sales strategy.

Position Requirements

  • Define the territory strategy and annual Business plan for the LAC region supporting all field facing positions

  • Prepares the Solution Enablement plan to support the sales organization ability to represent all new and upgraded solutions to the market

  • Coordinates with the Global Sales Enablement team to define the necessary assets and delivery methods that will be used to convey the needed knowledge within the regional team

  • Partners closely with the solutions consulting leadership to ensure the various teams are getting the level of technical and functional knowledge they need to support the sales effort for new and upgraded solutions

  • Develops various learning delivery models to engage the sales learners and to continually improve effectiveness of training and development programs and leverages technology to enhance and optimize the learning opportunity

  • Oversees and measures the sales process through all stages of the customer and sales lifecycle

  • Build a repeatable sales process that drives predictable results through the implementation of industry leading best practices and the Ellucian sales methodology

  • Effective leadership skills and passion for building highly engaged, highly motivated sales teams

  • Work closely with Solutions Marketing on campaigns, messaging, content and thought leadership initiatives

  • Experience selling to enterprise clients in a complex solution based selling environment

  • Proficient in and the ability to deliver Sandler Sales System training

  • Strong sales training facilitator with the ability to build and deliver training curriculums while providing real-time coaching in the field

  • Ability to provide executive level coaching on the sales leadership MOR application method

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the larger Ellucian eco-system required to support a successful regional enablement plan

Experience and Education:

  • 7 to 10 years working in a sales organization (software industry preferred) with demonstrated track record of developing sales enablement activities

  • Experience with Global Channel and Partner enablement

  • B2B sales experience in a SaaS environment

  • Experience supporting the higher education market place

  • 3 to 5 years Sandler Sales System training experience

  • Executive coaching experience Director level and above

  • Proven ability to work in an influence a matrix managed programs

  • Working in cross functional collaborative teams

  • Fluent in Spanish

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Solid experience with technology/tool implementation, user adoption, process re-engineering and Organizational Change Management

  • Coordinate and extend enablement activities to support Ellucian channel sales methodology

  • Experience working with a mixed direct and indirect selling model Globally
