5-10 years of previous operations management experience and supervisory experience
Excellent communication and writing skills
Candidate will be r esponsible for the day-to-day operation of the entire country
Outstanding background in leadership within the areas of distribution, transportation, operations, Import, export and supply chain management with strength in improving efficiencies
Control of the warehouses that supports a busy sales office at the same location
Candidate with a sharp focus on quality, experience in managing in a distribution/warehousing environment
Day to day supervision of warehouse/administrative team
Responsibility for P & L, acting as the primary contact for local customers and interface with other company business partners
Ability to motivate, lead and develop management and associate employees
Understanding of financial statements and reports
Plan, staff and direct all facility operations within budgeted requirements
Protect the safety of our employees and assets
Skilled with business computer applications
Knowledge of importation process
Ensuring the facility is compliant with company operations, policies, and procedures on a day-to-day basis
Coordinate import and export logistics based on company and the country policies
Negotiate rates with local companies such as transportation companies and brokers.
Manage and control assigned operations budget.
Develop Supply Chain Services projects for the company by working with sales team and customers.
Work closely with local and international vendors to optimize the operation.
Resolution of any problem(s) related to the company daily operation.
