Job Description


  • 5-10 years of previous operations management experience and supervisory experience

  • Bilingual Spanish/English

  • Excellent communication and writing skills

  • Candidate will be r esponsible for the day-to-day operation of the entire country

  • Outstanding background in leadership within the areas of distribution, transportation, operations, Import, export and supply chain management with strength in improving efficiencies

  • Control of the warehouses that supports a busy sales office at the same location

  • Candidate with a sharp focus on quality, experience in managing in a distribution/warehousing environment

  • Day to day supervision of warehouse/administrative team

  • Responsibility for P & L, acting as the primary contact for local customers and interface with other company business partners

  • Ability to motivate, lead and develop management and associate employees

  • Understanding of financial statements and reports

  • Plan, staff and direct all facility operations within budgeted requirements

  • Protect the safety of our employees and assets

  • Skilled with business computer applications

  • Knowledge of importation process

  • Ensuring the facility is compliant with company operations, policies, and procedures on a day-to-day basis

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate import and export logistics based on company and the country policies

  • Negotiate rates with local companies such as transportation companies and brokers.

  • Manage and control assigned operations budget.

  • Develop Supply Chain Services projects for the company by working with sales team and customers.

  • Work closely with local and international vendors to optimize the operation.

  • Resolution of any problem(s) related to the company daily operation.
