Role Summary:

Responsible for driving Site Planning, Preparation, Site Readiness and installation processes including the management of the Construction Service activities when this is part of the scope define as GE responsibility in the project, this include the L2/L3 cases and L1 (defined case by case), all of these with objective to achieve GE internal requirements compliance, customer satisfaction and company success through the best possible site management quality.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Main contact channel with the final Customer during the Contract execution

  • Coach and strengthen the regional pre-installation team, including sub-contractors and Channel Partners

  • Provide directions

  • Set Up accurate schedule of works, with a feasible base line, and activities forecast

  • Ensure the needed resources are identified and requested in due time

  • Coordination of sub-contractors selection process and management of hiring process

  • Control the sub-contractor’s activities and results

  • Control of the sub-contractor’s financial progress and payments schedule

  • Conduct new or existent site assessment for site validations and feasibility according to GEHC Standard processes and documents

  • Act as a facilitator to drive eventual installation issues to closing

  • Provide support to external and internal Customers on all steps on construction phase and site planning activities and project management of construction and installation. Pursue customer satisfaction through a high-quality site management

  • Discuss design and installation issues with each customer as needed

  • Plan and conduct project follow up meeting with customers and the construction partners

  • Work with HPM COE and Shared Services structure following standard requirements and process

  • Perform site tests and feasibility assessment as required

  • Prepare site preliminary drawings

  • Lead and maintain ownership during entire project cycle (Wing to Wing) using Project Management tools and systems from site feasibility to applications end

  • Provide logistic and technical support to Logistic team

  • Set accurate Site Readiness timeline projections

  • Support other business areas providing accurate update information, for production, project execution and revenues recognition purposes

  • Complete and execute internal systems and workflow process

  • Prepare and maintain site and projects reports according to business needs

  • Participate in related operational mechanisms

  • Ensure high quality site planning documents and drawings are delivered to Customers

  • Prepare and maintain projects data and files updated in PMI tool system


  • Graduate in Engineering or Architecture from an accredited university

  • At least 2 years of proven project management experience in building construction projects

  • AutoCAD design skills and excellent ability to understand technical construction drawings

  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills

  • Proficient in the soft skills necessary to be an effective project manager and interact with customer representatives: finance managers, physicians, hospital managers, third party civil engineering, constructors and government

  • Proven leadership, problem solving and effective decision-making capabilities

  • Ability to monitor and manages critical path elements of projects

  • Ability to deal and manage all aspects of customer service, customer satisfaction and contractual commitments

  • Ability to make formal presentations (internal and external)

  • Fluent in English and country local language

  • Willing to travel abroad +60% of the time (as required)

Desired Characteristics:

  • Knowledge and expertise in electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, physics, bioengineering, civil works

  • PM certification

  • Experience managing medical systems installation project is highly recommended

  • Good knowledge of GEHC equipment business and local regulations for medical equipment
