Job Description / Information

Responsible for learning and managing all product lines of medsurg, attending customers requirements in the field, troubleshooting customer issues, and coordinate field service technican or third party service to respond to customer requests for service.

1 . Product Diagnostics, repair and maintain register

  • Repair the Stryker products at customers’ premises, preview the correct diagnostic of problem in the equipment.

  • Register in QAD & CRM system all the devices to control product input and output of the company. In order to maintain record keeping to repairs and shipments.

  • Create quotations with the accurate cost and to find the best margins in each case.

  • Utilize proper software and technological tools to maintain proper records and access technical information.

2. Pre & Post Sales Service

  • Provide efficient, competent and timely service and repairs to all customers in direct sales team support to ensure optimum customer satisfaction

  • Provide post-sale service in the operation, carry out warranty work, preventive maintenance, facilities, billable service delivery or any other related service required by a customer.

  • Provide information and actively participate in the elaboration of customer service contracts. Responsible for coordination of demos and loaner and proper maintenance, ensuring service level compliance policies and Stryker.

  • Coordinate transportation for the shipment of equipment, coordination of deliveries and removal of demos, mobilizing technical visits to clients.

3. Maintain Service Level

  • Send repaired devices to customer on time set. Provide the required assitance.

  • Responsible for supporting all customer service requests via phone or voice mail in a timely manner

  • Will fully investigate product issues in order to assist field service reps in troubleshooting.

  • Initiates and tracks documentation to authorize and direct work according to customers’ contractual obligations

4. Instalation Design and Support

  • Support installation specialists or sales representatives on hospital configurations. Install I-Suite and give support to final customer on how to use the product.

  • Responsible of administration of whole life cycle of COMM projects, this includes start up, planification, execution and closure.

  • Design the AutoCAD drawings of the COMM projects operatiing rooms, or review them if they were designed by other Business Unit Designers (CAD Designers).

5. Management of Medsurg products lines

  • Provides technical product training to sales representatives, Stryker staff and customers.

  • Advise propperly to management in making decitions regarding the suitable products for commercialization based on customers needs.

7. Compliance

  • Associate must conduct all business and affairs in compliance with all laws and regulations, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Stryker Code of Conduct, and in accordance with the highest ethical standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • College degree – Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineer or Biomedical Engineer

  • Strong knowledge of Electronics or Mechanics skills

  • 3 years of experience within field.

  • Fluency in English is desirable.

  • Computer competency in Excel and Word

  • Knowledge of ERP´s

  • Previous experience in the medical devices business is a plus

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Certified in Medical, Instruments, Endoscopy, Communication and Navigation System products

  • Knowlege in AutoCAD is a plus
